The Ensor family has had a butchers' shop in the Royal Forest of Dean for the last 70 years. We are also a farming family and understand the importance of producing healthy food.
Over the last 50 years intensive farming methods have had a negative effect on the surrounding countryside and its rivers. Local ethical farmers are addressing the balance by using yesterdays knowledge for tomorrow's children and also producing the highest quality produce for us all to eat.

We work with a co-operative of Organic farmers from in and around the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire. Our system gives farmers a fair deal, customers the highest quality healthy meat with the lowest possible food miles. It is convenient and simple.

All our produce is certified Organic and we hope you enjoy what we have to offer.

We have an ultra hygenic butchery where your orders are cut, packed and labelled individually before being sent to you in our refridgerated vans.
